What a way to enter March! We are happy to announce that AKL has been shortlisted for the CEE Legal Matters 2023 Deal of the Year for Greece – an annual celebration of those lawyers and lawfirms that have brought the deals that shape Central and Eastern Europe into being – for its advice to the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF / ΤΑΙΠΕΔ) in relation to the sale of a majority stake in the Port of Igoumenitsa Authority S.A. to the GRIMALDI EUROMED - MINOAN LINES - EKEV Consortium.
The CEE Deals of the Year Awards have been granted since 2017 by CEE Legal Matters – the leading source of news and information about the lawyers and legal industry in Central and Eastern Europe – to celebrate the transactions, financings, IPOs, and other deals that underpin growth throughout the region, as well as the lawyers and law firms who make them happen.
Kudos to our M&A team, Partner Kostas Fatsis and Managing Partner Alexandros Kosmopoulos, who successfully led the AKL team having primary responsibility for transaction documentation.
The shortlists are based on the Country Selection Committees’ votes on all the deals nominated across CEE and the winners will be selected by a Final Selection Committee and announced at April 25, 2024. Until then, we would like to congratulate all the shortlisted law firms!
