We are pleased to announce that our Partner Alexandros Kosmopoulos will be participating as a speaker at the upcoming Capital Link Webinar titled: ‘The New Corporate Governance Landscape in Greece – Challenges and Opportunities’. Alexandros will present the extensive reforms introduced by recently enacted law 4706/2020 regarding the corporate governance framework applicable to Greek listed corporations. Such reforms are expected to enhance the quality of governance, potentially reduce the cost of capital to Greek corporates and increase the attractiveness of foreign investments in the Greek capital markets.
The webinar will consist of a 40-minute expert discussion moderated by Mrs. Natasha Martsekis, Board Member and Founding Member of the NED Club of Greece and Non-Executive Director of Cepal Hellas Financial Services, to be followed by a live Q&A session lasting for 15 minutes. Speakers will include Dr. Vassiliki Lazarakou, Chair of the Hellenic Capital Markets Commission, Mrs. Christina Ungureanu, Head of Corporate Governance, Eurizon Capital and Mr. Alexandros Maglaras, General Manager – CIO, Triton Asset Management AEDAK.
